Outer Hebrides - Branding & Identity

We created a brand, supported by a toolkit to help inspire local businesses to promote their unique offer in a clear and consistent way.
 
Through our research, it became clear that there was a strong desire for the brand marque to have a ‘graphical representation’ of the island chain. The marque is positioned just off the text to reinforce its geographical relationship with the mainland, and to build on the positioning strapline ‘Experience life on the Edge’.
 
The brands key components ‘Community, Landscape, Journeys, Senses and Contrasts are illustrated through a series of graphic wordles brought to life through the unique colour palette selected for the brand.
